The 3G/6G designation on a drone indicates that the drone utilizes a 3-axis gyroscope, a 6-axis gyroscope, or can be switch between the two. Technically, there is no such thing as a 6-axis gyroscope, just a three-axis gyroscope with three additional sensors. A gyroscope is an electronic device that senses the speed and direct of the drone. A 3-axis gyroscope has three standard orientation sensors that detect the pitch, yaw, and roll of the drone. A 6-axis gyroscope has three additional accelerometers which provide a drone with even more stability in flight. If you have the ability to switch your drone to 3G mode then your drone will suddenly become more sensitive and responsive because the three additional accelerometers are no longer providing the added stability.
